I keep getting mixed answers about this. On the wikipedia page it says that the city has the population of 8 somewhat million people but my boyfriend insists it is 28 million. I read that the Metro area of Mexico City has a population of 28 million or so. I am puzzled by their distinction between city and metro when it is a city and not a metropolis. I’m not city expert but was the flu break out in the city part of the city or the metro?

close to 9 million

it originated from a US military base and released in Mexico they called it swine flu but is really H1N1 this is flu bird flu, human flu and pig flu combined from other part of countries and continents and somehow it appears in Mexico.

I am traveling with friends to Taiwan this summer and I want to know which city would be the best choice. I also want to know which hotel is good. Thank you!

Since Taiwan’s summer is very hot I would suggest you to go to Kenting to enjoy the beautiful beach. There are many water activities such as diving, surging, banana boating, sand volleyball, etc. If you want to stay in the hotel that has a nice beach view Howard Beach Resort (http://howard-en.network.com.tw/) would be the best choice. Even though it’s more expensive I think it’s worth it. Not just fun in the morning Kenting has fantastic nightlife. There are many nice restaurants, clubs and bars. Following link has detail information about what’s good in Kenting and more hotel choices.

http://tourguide.sinotour.com/kenting/

You can also head north to Kaohsiung and go shipping in the Dream Mall which is the largest shopping center in Taiwan or go to Liouhe Night Market to enjoy the local Taiwanese dishes. For more information about Kaohsiung you can check out the following link.

We are in our late 20’s, newly married, and looking for a city with opportunity, ethnic diversity, arts and an active music/nightlife scene, as well as access to outdoor activities.

A few places come to mind, based on my own experience and my kids’. Chicago is a wonderful city, with everything you’re looking for. The cost of living is high and winters can be brutal, but you’ve got Lake Michigan, a lively arts scene, great restaurants, and friendly people. Next, I’d say Boulder, CO is a great choice. It’s not really a big city but you can’t beat the outdoor sporting opportunities, the climate, the scenery and the citizens. I can also highly recommend Seattle, a wonderful place — and don’t forget the other cities in that area like Bellingham, Tacoma, and the suburbs. Last. I’d recommend Cleveland. It has world class museums and of course the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Case-Western Reserve University’s beautiful campus and cultural events, and is surrounded by a series of parks called the "Emerald Necklace" where you can watch polo, play tennis, swim, picnic, hike, rock climb, and just stroll around. They have gorgeous falls rivalling New England’s, can have severe winters, and spring comes a little late. Oh, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
