Coming To Grips With Pay Per Click

Oftentimes I get asked about what Pay Per Click strategy I would recommend. First, I want to say that it is very hard recommend a specific PPC campaign strategy. This is very hard to do without actually knowing the specifics of the product or service that is going to be promoted. What I can say however is that regardless of the keywords and phrase, landing pages, and ads that you use, one thing that you must do is split test and track. Test and track everything. This is the only way to optimize your campaign so that you will gain the most favorable Cost Per Click (CPC). This can spell the difference between success and failure … Adwords Campaign

Make Money Selling Information Online

Why would you want to be selling information online?

After packaging information products – also known as info products – for the last 6-years, we now have 12 ebooks, reports and other infoproducts for sale on the internet.

And why wouldn’t it be fun?

You spend a few weeks packaging information into and info product following the blueprint available from this Selling Information Online Blueprint, and then you sit back and collect the profits for months and years to come.

So, what is the key to profitable information products?

Tapping into markets where there is a strong desire for an outcome.

In other words – tapping into hot topics and markets that demand infoproducts like crazy.

These are not books or ebooks people buy browsing through their local bookstore, these are books, ebooks, video series and membership sites that people actively seek out on the internet and are ready to buy

There are many ways to find such topics, look at what is selling already on Amazon, Clickbank, CJ, magazine headlines, etc… But what you REALLY have to do is look at the reason why they are selling.

What is the problem or desire they are addressing and what promise are they making to the reader? Also – topics with BUZZ around them are good (as long as they are not short-term fads – but are real trends).

The great news is that all of the information you need to find hot markets, identify proven, profitable topics and package information into hot selling information online is available to us for nothing…

No wonder we are so excited heading into this next year!

Why the Yellow Pages are extinct By Don Christie

Its essential for small and local business to basically forget the Telephone Books and start getting more and more online.

Don Christie
Most plumbers for example are great at adding a listing to the Yellow Pages, but little to none of them are willing to get a search engine marketing ( or SEM) consultant to build an online campaign. They know how to do the plumbing side of things so efficiently by using up to date technology to make their lives easier, however when it comes to the information technology and internet marketing, they fall very short.

Most business owners are savvy, that is why they are in business as they are smarter than those that work hard for other people. These people who own these businesses are the same people who would think of nothing to buy the latest peice of equipment that would build their widget fast or better. Whilst they think that a book is going to help bring more of the daily leads in. CRAZY

Many small business owners don’t realise the level of profits that online marketing can bring. For Example Let’s say you are an Air Conditioner Supplier / Installer and your average customer is worth $3000 worth of business per year. And you use a Telephone Book advertisement for $5000 for a full page ad every year. You assume most of your customers come from this ad each year, so you have never thought to change it or stop running the ad. But your local football club also has your number listed in the business section, your truck has your business painted all over it and your customers recommend your services. So all in all you have no idea who is benefiting from the ad, you or the telephone book company. Now, think about a highly targeted campaign using intelligence that a Search Engine Marketer has access to. He or She has the ability to drill down on certain key phrases that actually will have more people interested in your website. A truly optimized campaign would build a website that has the ability to lead potential customers into a funnel where their only option is to contact the small business as they ‘rank’ highly in the Google search engine. Perhaps a more cost effective strategy compared to the telephone directory one is to engage a Search Engine Marketing Strategy where $5000 would build you a network of web pages, customer pages, articles on your topic, pictures/ videos of your business or work, etc where your customer can learn to trust and feel like they actually know you before ever meeting you.
