How many miles is it from San Antonio to Johnson City TX?
is san antonio segreated city?
is san antonio, texas segreated a little bit cause northside is mostly anglo and east side is mostly black and west side and southside are mostly hispanic
only by choice. People tend to live with the people most like them. not by color, but by ethicity. Not all hispanics hang together. Just like not all whites. Go to Chicago or NYC and you will find German, Irish, and Itallian parts of town. Humans Are like this, and there is nothing wrong with it. Sometimes two people will fall in love from different ethnic groups, sometimes not.
has there ever been an earthquake in the city of san antonio texas?
There are very old fault lines in the area. I have never heard of an earthquake there in recorded history though.
Here are some sites that discuss fault lines in the area.

Do a search in wiki for Balcones_Fault. I tried to give you the link but Yahoo Answers goes to an error screen when I try to put that link in.
I’m to photograph the whole city of San Antonio. Can any one tell me where the best spot to do that?
Tower of Americas is nice,..but if you want the whole city,..go downtown and take the freeway leading to Austin,..I-35 not even 5 miles from the downtown area there is a hill(bluff), there you will get the most beautiful panoramic view of Downtown San Antonio,..especially during the first moments of sunset.
Would i really have that hard of a time relocating to San Antonio Texas from New York City?
i mean i love NYC so much and im truly a city girl. Not employment wise..im not worried about that..i just mean will it be hard for me to adapt.
Ok,,,i live in New York City presently…i know the cost of living..i actually live here now….I am relocating to San Antonio, TX.
Better climate for one. But if you are really into the culture scene, and attend the opera, Broadway plays, visit museums on a regular basis, then you might have a problem. There is certainly culture in San Antonio, though not on the scale of NYC. The shopping is great – and if you can’t find it in a store, you can always shop online. It’s cleaner, the people are more friendly and the crime rate is much lower. Besides, if you get homesick, the amount of money you’ll save by living in San Antonio will buy you MANY round trip tickets to NYC. Good luck!
Which is the better city to live in, Dallas or San Antonio?
I’m trying to decide which city to live in and I am torn between these two, can anyone help with any suggestions?
San Antonio is more spacious. It’s still growing. Doesn’t have NEARLY the traffic that Dallas does. There’s tons of room and options to live. Dallas is already full to capacity.
If you look at those, I say San Antonio. If you’re military, San Antonio. If you prefer sports above other stuff, Dallas has teams in NFL, NHL and more – while San Antonio has hockey, WNBA, and NBA.
view of the city in san antonio?
is there a place i can drive to and view the city of san antonio of just drive to a really high place to have a view
You still can drive off of Hilderbrand and see the city- that would be one of the more better places if the stadium lights are off then it wont be a bad view. I think the best view is drivng south on the 37
Which American city would you prefer to visit/leave in between Minneapolis OR San Antonio and why?
I just got back from one of the two and am now in the other. San Antonio had incredible weather, cool attractions, fun latin culture with nice suburbs. Minneapolis is cozy and overall Minnesota is a neat place. Which one do u like better?
Minneapolis, for sure.
San Antonio? No thanks. Even though I was born in Texas I wouldn’t even step foot in that city.
Too many illegal immigrants.
What is a nice little town just out of the San Antonio city limits? ?
You know a town thats so small that everyone knows everyone. Kind of like the town in the movie Stand By Me or Twilight.
My mom and i are searching for a new house but she wants a small peaceful area. Thanks in advance!!! =D
Well i have lived in San Antonio for the past 10 years of my life. It started getting really packed about 5 years ago. I just want to see how it would be to live in a small town. You know just kind of get away from everything. It would have to be somewhere near 281 and 1604 though because thats where my mom works.
Small towns are all around San Antonio, but I don’t know that even in the smallest towns that you ever know everybody. The smallest town I lived in was 1200 people and I didn’t know everybody. Most people don’t know everybody at their high schools.
Given that, your best chance for a town like that would be somewhere like Comfort just Northwest of the city. Possibly Blanco also north of the city. South of San Antonio you would find towns like Poteet, Poth, Kenedy, Nixon, Karnes City and Stockdale.
is San Antonio a good city to live in?
is it better than Auston or Houston?
San Antonio is great. Cheaper than Austin, cleaner than Houston.
