When we decide to be intimate with another person, we place ourselves in a circumstance where our shortcomings habitually show.

It is not hard to see that when we open ourselves to love, we will inexorably expose ourselves to be disappointed and harm. It is the nature in all relationships that we are going to get injured and the question is how are we going to respond to that injury? Through an injury, you can reach the depths but without injuries, the relationship will not deepen. Set your sights high on finding your ex for this same person was the same who made you feel special in the first encounter.

Happy endings are not rare if you use creativity and a little persistence in your path to reconciliation. If you are fortunate enough you will have your ex receive you with open arms in response to your loving and warm initiation. You can now move on with your relationship relatively quickly and with confidence.

Just remember that in case the response is unclear or ambivalent, it is probably wise to show restraint. Your ex may need time to think, to work through feelings, or to decide how to respond. If you move ahead too fast or push too hard, you may unknowingly tip the balance away from the outcome you desire.

To quit drinking is almost the same as to quit smoking. It’s easy to start and be hooked with these vices but it’s very hard to get rid of it. I have been drinking alcohol since my high school days and I can feel now the negative effects of alcohol in my body. I feel sickly and too tired to move. With this, I decided to quit drinking. It does me no good but pain. I have already sought the help of a doctor and have been attending of a counseling class. This is the best thing I have ever done in my life.

Some of the inconsistencies of conflict resolution is the acceptance of your boyfriend’s limitations while simultaneously staying open to the possibility that he might change his behavior.

In the case of getting back with your ex boyfriend; you might have a pretty good idea how he is likely to react bearing in mind that even the most unruly person can transform his attitude.

In the area of emotions and relationships, there is no right way to act in response; no blanket approach that performs seamlessly across the board. In some cases, what is called for is a fierce determination to do whatever you can to make things right again. In others, the best solution is to simply walk away.

One of my close friends lived with an unpredictable, alcoholic guy. She use to tell me how week after week she would keep trying to work with this dynamic and talked about it. Finally after months of struggling to do the right thing, it dawned on her that the right thing was to move. So one morning she just got up and left and that was the appropriate resolution for her.

If getting back with your ex boyfriend has comparable volatile circumstances, it is easier to move on than with a relationship that there is more at stake. Out of loyalty, desperation or need, people sometimes try repeatedly to reconcile relationships in which they are consistently treated badly. In these cases walking away from a conflict can be especially empowering.
