Should MLB add more interleague match ups to the regular season?

Posted by admin on October 24th, 2009 and filed under welcome to the city | 5 Comments »

I think more interleague play would be welcomed. Cities with MLB teams will get to see more teams from other leagues that they rarely get to see. It may make travel schedules a little more complicated, but I’d rather see more than just the same match ups over and over again.

Not really, because it could have a negative effect on the division races.

Here’s why.

Suppose the Mets are in a penant race with the Nationals, and each team was to play their geographical rival 19 times a year, meaning the Nats played the Orioles and the Mets played the Yankees, and during Interleague play, the Nats beat the Orioles 16 games to 3, and the Mets only won 10 games vs. the Yankees. That would be an unfair advantage to the Nationals winning the division, if they, in fact, did. One team played a patsy and the other played a formidable foe, and yet both series counted towards winning your Division Championship.
Its not a fair advantage.

There’s too much Interleague play as there is.

How many libs are proud of this action taken but Berkeley city council?

The Berkeley City Council recently passed a resolution telling U.S. Marine recruiters that they were "not welcome in the city, if recruiters choose to stay, they do as uninvited and unwelcome intruders."
Megara…..then let me ask you this…do you think it was the right thing to do???

Do you like the way liberals neer seem to answer the question? Liberals lack the spine and the intestinal fortitude to draw a bright line of right and wrong. Liberals love to complain when their Abortion Clinics are given the same treatment by abortion rights activists. It is OK to butcher a baby the moral outrage is justified in order to protect the false notion of Choice yet when our sons and daughters choose by their own volition and beliefs to protect this country Liberals interfere with that choice. So I can make the conclusion that Liberals condone a bad choice butchering a baby, yet while claiming a recession with jobs being scarce wanting to prevent people from not only doing a duty for this country that permits them to do foolish things, they are also keeping a man from working.

Inter-racial couple: looking for a welcoming city.?

Posted by admin on October 15th, 2009 and filed under welcome to the city | 6 Comments »

Wondering if the biggest cities be our best chance at an ORDINARY life?

Looking for a welcoming place, where we may decide finally to settle. Open to relocating anywhere in the country, within middle class means.

Any towns in the mid west, Denver, somewhere in Col, Wyo/Dakotas?
Love those but it might turn out to be depressing…

Any ideas for heaven?

PLEASE DO HELP WITH SUGGESTIONS!

How do I decide which city to live in?

Posted by admin on October 13th, 2009 and filed under welcome to the city | 8 Comments »

I want to move to Germany for college and to live there afterwards as well, but I just can’t decide which city is the right one for me. All the major cities have universities so that’s not the issue here. My problem is knowing what city I want to LIVE in.

What are some things to help me decide? Links, city comparisons/etc.. are very welcome.

Well first off both deciding when you want to live you should decide what college you want to go to. Cause you don’t want to go to a college that is like two hours or an hour away right? So answer that question first. If you find the college you like but not really the city than find a city that is close by to the college.

Good luck
